Apply to the Academic Program

The HumanSignal team is thrilled to support the advancement of education and research through free access to the Label Studio Enterprise cloud platform. Qualified students, educators, and researchers are free to use the Label Studio Enterprise platform for non-commercial purposes.

How do I qualify?

• All users must be students, employees, or contractors of an accredited educational institution, using Label Studio for teaching or research purposes.
• Industry-funded research conducted at universities or non-profit organizations does not qualify for this program, but will often qualify for discounted use of Label Studio Enterprise [contact us to discuss your use case].
• You agree to cite Label Studio in any published research that uses work derived from the Academic Program.
• You agree to write a short description of your research for us to share, and allow us to use the logo of your institution or research group in promotion and marketing of the program.

How do I get started?

• Review the full terms and apply for the program.
• Register for the Label Studio Enterprise free trial using the same University email address provided in the application.
  • ** NOTE** Registering for the free trial when submitting your application will speed up the process to create your account.
• We aim to review all applications within 5 business days, and will follow up if we have any additional questions.
• Once approved, you will receive an email stating that your free trial account has been converted to an academic program license.
